If my doctor said to me " you're pre-diabetic" This is exactly what I would do.. 5 daily non-negotiables & 3 actions

I hear this every single day.

"Tracy, I saw my GP & they said I'm pre-diabetic..

What does it mean & how do I reverse it"?

If I got that news from my GP this is exactly what I would do.

Here's my Top 5 non-negotiables:

  1. Walk 10 minutes after I've eaten- reduces post meal blood sugar spikes by 20-30%

  2. Eat protein with every meal- between 25-40 grammes

  3. Start Strength Training with weights 2/3 times a week

  4. Stop drinking; smoothies, juices, sugary drinks & lattes

  5. Replace refined carbs like; white bread, pasta..

Then I would aim to do these 3 as well:

  1. Get good quality deep sleep & at least 7 hours.

  2. Get my heart rate up every day with aerobic exercise (10 minutes minimum).

  3. Completely stop snacking & eating in between meals.

BIG question:

Can it be reversed?

Yes- in most cases you can bring your blood sugar back into the normal range through these lifestyle changes.

I have a few ways I can support you.

I hope this is helpful.
