PILATES for backs, hips & shoulders...

STRUGGLING with your back, hips, shoulders? Problems in these areas such as osteoarthritis, degenerative disc disease, hip dysfunction, tendinitis, bursitis, rotator cuff dysfunction, frozen shoulder, impingement… can present with a wide range of symptoms, discomfort & issues with movement, mobility, posture, pain & CONFIDENCE…


When muscles are weak & compensations occur overtime- pain follows. I want to address these issues for you.

I’ve been teaching Pilates since 2000, during that time I have continued to learn & develop so that I can help you even more. I have recently completed a course specialising in hips, shoulders & backs.

Going into immense detail & depth working with the most common pathologies.

As a result, I have created a specific Pilates Class to work with those areas.

WEDNESDAYS 10.00-11.00am

At the First Place Fitness, Kirkland, Kendal

£8 pay as you go.


Who is this class for?

Ø  You have osteoarthritis, it causes pain, your mobility is restricted but you want to strengthen your muscles.

Ø  You have had knee or hip replacements & you want to improve balance, strength & mobility.

Ø  You have a shoulder problem that would benefit greatly from specific strength & mobility exercises.

Ø  You have sciatica, disc issues that would benefit from safe & correct exercises to strengthen your core.

Ø  You are in recovery & wanting to rehabilitate specific muscle groups.

Ø  You have non-specific lower back, hip or shoulder discomfort & want guidance to move well, improve your posture, have better mobility & strength.
