Here are my Top 5 Tips to transform your mind and body the healthy way.
Doing the best kind of Fat Burning Exercises, eating healthy foods, drinking 3 litres of water & getting plenty of rest…. WILL get you so far, here are some INVALUABLE TIPS to keep you on track.
1. OVER ESTIMATING THE AMOUNT OF FOOD YOU ‘THINK’ YOU CAN EAT…
Think your walks, cycles, runs and workouts earn you a whole pack of biscuits? Think again. Overestimating your calorie burn will sabotage your weight loss efforts. Change your mind-set- shift from thinking exercise = I can eat what I want. Eat healthy, fuel yourself well and perform even better for INSTANTLY improving your results.
2. INCREASE YOUR EXERCISE INTENSITY…
Consider adding more OOMPPHH to supercharge your fat burning & weight loss. A number of studies have revealed that high intensity interval training is more effective for fat loss than steady-state cardio. It is due to the ‘after burn’ effect of interval training. Want to burn more calories while you recover on the sofa? Of course you do! 3. TORCH FAT WHILE YOU SLEEP… DON’T SKIP BREAKFAST
Live by the old saying of 'breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince & dine like a pauper'. The worst thing you can do is skip breakfast. You will always end up eating far too much of the wrong foods in the evening. By fueling yourself early on you will ensure you energise yourself well through the day & prevent overeating later. Ending the day with a smaller dinner will ensure your body burns fat overnight.
4. DO A BIT EVERY DAY…
Consistently doing your workouts & exercising every day, every week over months is a lot more effective than not doing anything for days on end then doing a lot. Make gradual increases in your classes, fitness session & always have one rest day. Similarly, if you are aiming for weight loss then go for a steady 1-2lbs per week rather than trying to lose it all in one go.
5. USE WEIGHTS….
Adding weights into your exercise plan can boost the number of calories you burn considerably, as lean muscle mass is a big fat burning component on your body so the more you have the more you will burn. Not to mention using weights in a structured way will increase your body tone, make you feel stronger mentally & physically from within.
Even if you just manage to start one tip today...
