Wake Up Moment
I arrived back from holiday feeling like I had overindulged, eating one cream tea too many & drinking wine every day. My clothes felt tight & I felt like I was swollen & not quite myself. Even though I was active & moving every day, I missed Tracy’s strength training.
The negative impact on my body composition was noticeable after a short period of not really making good choices.

Making a Conscious Choice to Change
Like many ladies of my age, (55), I struggle to maintain my weight & trying to lose a few pounds is challenging. I decided to look at Tracy’s Fat Loss Blueprint think consciously & follow it.

Sticking To It
To keep on track, I thought carefully about my food shopping to make sure I increased protein daily to the level I needed (I worked it out from Tracy’s equation from Protein 101 post)
I looked at the rest of my plate increasing salad & vegetables in place of rice, pasta & potatoes.
To create a calorie deficit, I removed bread & cut out sugary carbs. I also reduced coffee, replacing with herbal teas which seems to have helped my energy levels.

Results in 8 Weeks
Using Tracy’s Fat Loss Blueprint & doing 2/3 of Tracy’s Strength Classes a week has resulted in a weight loss of 10 lbs, losing 3 inches from my hips & waist & 2 inches from my thighs in 8 weeks.
It has got me back into a good routine. I don’t want to lose more weight.
I’m happy with my body composition, have more energy, better habits & I can sustain it.
